What changed
These are records, not articles: when a document arrives, the record it concerns is updated rather than replaced by a new post. That only works if the changes are visible, so every one of them is listed here with the date and the commit it landed in.
Updates
Written by the people running the archive: an application filed, a document obtained, a deadline passed. An update reports what we did or what a clock did, never what happened at an incident.
Record changes
Derived from the repository rather than written: every record added, every state moved.
Following rather than revisiting
There is an Atom feed of this page. It carries the same entries: what was added, which states moved, and what was edited.
Nothing about following the archive is recorded here. A feed reader fetches a file; it does not tell us who you are, and we do not run anything that would.
Why a state change is the entry that matters
A claim moving from UNKNOWN to CORROBORATED, or a question from UNANSWERED to ANSWERED, is the only thing on this site that can happen without a word of the copy changing. It requires a document, and it is the closest thing the archive has to news.
The full history is the repository. This page is derived from it rather than kept alongside it, so it cannot tell a different story from the commits. Each entry below carries the commit it came from.
